| Yesterday saw the opening of the new shrine room at Wat Pah Santidhamma (Forest Hermitage).

| I (ME) was in jewelry shop X to look at some rings and the sales lady (HER) asked me to try on some meaurement ring to see what size ring I should wear:
ME: So how does this measurement work?
HER: This is a French system which uses the metric measurement.
ME: Oh what does that mean?
HER: It is not the same as what you are used to?
ME: ....
HER: This is different from the JAPANESE measurement system.
ME: .... But I do not use the Japanese measurement system.
Ahhhh.... people!! Stop please!!

| I was at the Regent Street Festival yesterday and I did not know what it was for and so I (ME) asked one of the old lady (OL) who was with another middle aged man (ASS):
(ME) So... what is this thing about?
(OL) This is a festival about spanish (two kid at the front had a grin on their faces by then)
(ASS) Yes... the Chinese is next week.....
(ME) Umm... who said I am Chinese?
(ASS) Well... Japanese???
I shrugged and walked off.... some people .....
